What is the process for applying for services?
We will need a copy of your latest eye report. Our staff will work with you to get a release to attain that information, or you can have your eye doctor send it to us. Once we confirm your eligibility, we will get you on our visit list and schedule a visit with you at our earliest availability.
What documentation is required?
Eye report indicating visual condition and impact on daily life tasks.
What services are available?
Providing referrals, connecting to Talking Books, providing assistive technology such as magnifiers and other devices, training related to blindness and low vision, and facilitating applications to the Montgomery Trust Fund for training and assistive technology such as CCTVs.
